If you’re excited for Marathon finally releasing, you’ll want all the goodies you can get your hands on to either make yourself stand out or be the envy of your squad.

If you’re playing Marathon on PS5 with an active PlayStation Plus membership at launch, you’ll be able to claim three exclusive weapon charms for free, all inspired by other big PlayStation games.

What free Marathon cosmetics do PS Plus members get?

If you play the Server Slam ahead of the official launch of Marathon, you can earn some extra goodies that will be super useful on early runs.

However, if you’re a PS Plus subscriber, you’ll also be in the running for a few different cosmetics that you can show off to your fellow Tau Ceti IV explorers.

Here’s the list and what game they’re themed around:

  • For Freedom Weapon Charm – Helldivers 2
  • Battle Guitar Weapon Charm – Death Stranding 2
  • Onryō Weapon Charm – Ghost of Yōtei

These rewards are purely cosmetic, but they’re a fun little gift for those of you out there who are playing on PlayStation. They’re also a solid way to make your loadout feel a bit more personal in a game that’s all about your gear choices, without breaking the immersion too much of the desolate future aesthetic.

While these are reserved for PlayStation players, if you’re playing on either PC or Xbox, don’t worry.  Bungie has confirmed there will be weapon charms for you, too, but details are coming later.

When can you claim them?

You’ll be able to utilize all three charms when Marathon releases on March 5, 2026.

While Bungie hasn’t stated how to actually get them on your account, we presume that as long as you’re a PS Plus subscriber when you load in after launch, you’ll be given them straight away in-game.

The only other bonus cosmetics we know of so far come in the Collector’s Edition of the game. So, the above might be the one way of making yourself stand out, if you don’t want to cough up the cash, that is.
