Evoplay crowns a new royal in The King: Crimson Crown

Evoplay has expanded its popular Crimson Crown series with The King: Crimson Crown, a new three-reel slot that introduces an updated Collector mechanic, four fixed jackpots and multiple routes into its Bonus Game.

Building on the structure of the original, the latest release puts the King himself at the centre of proceedings, with Coin symbols appearing on reels one and three and the King Collector occupying reel two.

Coins can carry multipliers worth 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 7x or 10x, while jackpot values can also appear among them.

If at least one Coin lands alongside the King Collector during the base game, the Rex Energy feature is activated.

King Collector gathers coins and jackpots

Once Rex Energy begins, the King Collector sweeps up the value of every Coin currently visible on the reels.

This includes any Mini, Minor, Major or Grand jackpot values in play, meaning a well-timed appearance can provide a considerably larger boost to the winning spin.

The game also introduces Coin Rush, a random event that can activate whenever at least one Bonus symbol lands during the base game.

If triggered, two additional Coin or King Collector symbols are placed onto random positions before the Bonus Game begins, giving players a stronger starting setup.

The feature can also be entered naturally by landing at least one Bonus symbol on each of the three reels.

You begin with the triggering symbols already locked in place and three spins on the counter. Every new Bonus symbol resets the remaining spins back to three, allowing the round to continue for as long as fresh symbols keep arriving.

Once the Bonus Game concludes, the values gathered by all King Collector symbols are combined to calculate the final payout.

Four fixed jackpots are available throughout the feature. The Mini is worth 20x the stake, followed by the 35x Minor and 100x Major, while the Grand sits at the top of the royal treasury at 1,000x.
