Here’s how many Acts Saros has, so you can lock in on rolling the credits

Saros is one of those titles where you’ll either be absolutely loving the challenge, or have you on your last legs as you fight against that incredibly hard boss for the fiftieth time.

Because of this, knowing how Saros is structured can be a pretty handy thing. It won’t make the bosses any easier, sadly, but it does at least give you a better idea of where you are in the overall journey and how much more punishment, discovery, and story you’ve got left to power through.

How many Acts are there in Saros?

If you’re battling your way through Saros, and the many story beats of Arjun Devraj’s arc, knowing how long you have left in your experience can prepare you for the end.

While we’ve touched on how many hours you’ll be expecting for a complete playthrough in a separate article, we haven’t broken down how many Acts are actually in the game.

In short, there are a total of three Acts in Saros, with eight Biomes within, plus The Passage hub area to technically bring the total number of ‘areas’ to nine.

We’d probably say think of these Acts like a movie where the basic premise is a beginning, middle, and end, with each one ramping up the stakes, enemy pressure, and how powerful you become.

Something to note, though, is that when you do complete the third Act, you will be able to continue playing through an epilogue, allowing you to work toward the secret ending, which, if you’ve enjoyed the experience, might add a cherry on top.

That epilogue is worth keeping in mind if you’re the kind of player who doesn’t like rolling credits and walking away, allowing you to squeeze as much Housemarque excellence out before the long wait for the studio’s next title, whatever that may be.
