Not happy with your Arc Raiders Skill Tree? You can now respec

When Arc Raiders launched, the game came with a plethora of great quality-of-life features that other titles simply gloss over.

However, one particular aspect was missing – the ability to respec those Skill Points you’ve put into the branching skill tree for your Raider, giving them much needed boosts on Topside raids.

The recent Cold Snap update brought a wide variety of bug fixes, a Flickering Flames event, the introduction of Candleberries, and yes, the ability to redistribute those Skill Points.

How to respec Skill Points in Arc Raiders

If you’ve been clambering to switch up your Skill Tree in Arc Raiders, maybe to put more points in Survival, to unlock the ability to break into those security lockers, the time has arrived.

To reset your Arc Raiders Skill Tree, giving you the ability to completely respec, you’ll need to open it up in the Raider tab.

At the bottom of your screen, you should now see a ‘Reset Your Skills’ option alongside the corresponding button you need to hit based on which platform you’re playing on.

This will bring up a dialogue box asking if you want to go ahead and commit to the Skill Tree reset, along with informing you of what it is going to set you back.

You’ll need at least 152,000 Coins in order to confirm a respec of a fully decked out Skill Tree. This number does decrease based on how many Skill Points you have put in, but regardless, it may be a tough ask as most are preparing for the Expedition Project.

In fact, if you are planning on wiping your character, resetting your Skill Points does seem like a waste of cash since when your Caravan departs, it’ll revert to a fresh state anyway.

All in all, it’s great that Embark Studios has listened to player feedback and introduced a Skill Tree reset in the game, but it’s likely those who are planning on putting a solid amount of hours in might just wait for the Expedition departure to come around.
