The Arc Raiders train simply isn’t slowing down with yet another update on the cards for the Holiday period.

This is the aptly named Cold Snap update, bringing with it snow, quests, and other goodies for you to enjoy.

We’ve got our hands on the release date and time of Arc Raiders’ winter refresh, so you know exactly when you can start raiding in freezing temperatures.

What are the Arc Raiders Cold Snap update release times?

The Arc Raiders Cold Snap update drops as an early Christmas present on December 16, giving you over a week to get some exploration going on the snow-laden maps before you’re made to spend time with your family on Christmas Day.

But when can you exactly leave the frosty tunnels of Speranza head Topside for some snow covered loot?

What is in the Arc Raiders Cold Snap update?

As we’ve previously alluded to, there are a few new additions added to Arc Raiders with this latest update, potentially pulling you back in to finish up finding materials for the Expedition Project before it departs.

The two big inclusions are the Cold Snap Map Condition and the Flickering Flames Winter Event that offer up more challenges as you explore Topside.

The Cold Snap turns the Rust Belt into even more of a death trap than usual since exposure to the temperatures lowers your time in-raid. Frozen surfaces wreck footing, visibility drops, and frostbite becomes basically a constant threat.

The Flickering Flames event, however, is more in tune with gift giving. If you do enough looting, you’ll pick up some Candleberries and winter essentials (lights, heat sources, supplies), which, if turned in, will reward you with things like Raider Tokens, weapons, cosmetics, and Merits.

There’s a new free Raider Deck too, The Goalie, which goes live on December 26. The headline look is an “old world” gladiator-meets-rink skin, paired with a hockey stick Raider Tool. If it’s anything like the first free Deck, you’ll need to put a bunch of hours in to get the lot.

Oh, there’s a Guitar being added as well. So you can band together with your Flute-playing squad and serenade those in the snow.

You’ll have until January 13, 2026 to experience all of the above before things go back to a little less slippery.
