If you’re still having fun as a humanoid Ditto in Pokémon Pokopia, you’ll soon have another limited-time event to jump into, and this one feels absolutely on-brand for the Pokémon it’s themed around.

The Pokémon Company has announced Zorua’s Hide-and-Sneak Contest, a new in-game event coming to Pokémon Pokopia on July 19, 2026, running until July 27, 2026, at 4:59 AM local time.

What is the Pokémon Pokopia Zorua event, and how can you access it?

During the event, you will be able to meet Zorua itself and take part in a special hide-and-seek-style contest for in-game prizes, including a shiny new trophy to add to your collection.

If you want to take part, all you’ll need to have done is rebuilt Pokémon Center in your town. Once that’s sorted, Zorua can be found waiting in front of it, where you can speak to the sneaky Unova Pokémon and start the event.

As for what the contest itself entails, you’ll be challenged to beat your best completion time in “Hide-and-Sneak,” with rewards handed out based on performance.

There’s also a nice little multiplayer element, too. While you can take part alone, you’re also able to visit another player’s town, or meet up on Cloud Island to compete together. In another player’s town, both hosts and guests can participate, but prizes are unfortunately only awarded to the host. On Cloud Island, the fastest player earns the top record and the prize.

It’s worth noting that, unlike the previous Jirachi event, this Zorua event does not appear to add a new Pokémon to the game. Instead, it’s focused more on replayable score-chasing and event-exclusive rewards.

With the event only running for around a week, this is one you’ll want to jump into quickly unless you fancy missing out on Zorua’s antics for good.
