The Arc Raiders content train is very much still chugging away, and with the Headwinds update, there’s a Buried City map refresh, Trophy Display Project, and more.

In terms of new gear, additional Augments have been added to the game, and they could be the new go-tos for your runs, depending on how you like to play.

What are the new Arc Raiders Augments?

There are two new Augments that have been introduced in the Arc Raiders Headwinds update, both of which are of Mk. 3 varieties.

First up, we have the Tactical Mk. 3 (Revival), and while you might think it’s another one focused on getting picked up from another squadmate, it’s actually far more useful than that.

That’s because it restores 1 health every 5 seconds, meaning you won’t have to waste bandages to heal up fully and instead, you can just roam around knowing you’ll get back to 100%.

The downsides to the Tactical Mk. 3 (Revival) Augment is that if you do get damaged, the healing effect is paused for 30 seconds, so you won’t be getting topped up during fights, and you’re only able to apply Light Shields.

It does also have a built-in Defibrillator, though, perfect for squads where you can be the doctor of the team.

The second new Augment is for you, serial hoarders out there, as it increases looting potential.

The Looting Mk. 3 (Safekeeper) Augment gives you a Safe Pocket that allows you to store any item in it. This is huge for those who find an extremely rare weapon, such as the Equalizer, Jupiter, or Aphelion, and want to ensure they escape with it, regardless of whether they get taken down or not.

You’re able to use Light, Medium, or Heavy Shields with this one, so you’re not only safe in knowing you’ll be getting out with whatever you want in that Safe Pocket, you can go in as a tank to fend off attackers.

How to get the new Arc Raiders Augments

Just like other Augments in Arc Raiders, you’ll have to get lucky with looting in order to pick them up.

You can get them out in the wild either by searching containers or on fallen raiders, but its the Blueprints you want to be getting.

These are found in the usual rare looting spots, with some players noting that Stella Montis might be the best way to find them.
