Joker and Harley are taking over LEGO Batman in the new Mayhem Collection DLC

Warner Bros. Games has revealed the next DLC coming to LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and this time, the villains are getting their chance to cause a bit of chaos.

The newly announced Mayhem Collection launches on September 18 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 Deluxe Edition owners, introducing The Joker and Harley Quinn as fully playable characters alongside a new story mission, game mode, cosmetics, and more.

Joker and Harley Quinn are running riot in Gotham

The main inclusion in the DLC is a brand-new story mission that sees Joker and Harley orchestrating a breakout from Arkham Asylum, complete with their own unique gadgets and abilities.

Joker opts for a quicker, more agile fighting style, making use of his Paintball Pelter and Boxing Glove, while Harley brings her trusty hammer, Fun Gun, and even her hyenas Bud and Lou into battle.

There’s also an entirely new Mayhem Mode, which sounds like exactly what you’d expect from the name.

You’ll race across Gotham in time-limited Mayhem Runs, smashing landmarks, shops, vehicles, and pretty much anything else standing in your way, while collecting studs and completing challenges.

Batman and Robin will be chasing you down throughout, while A.R.G.U.S. and Task Force X members including Deathstroke, Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, King Shark, and Polka-Dot Man will also pop up.

The Mayhem Collection additionally includes the Sinister Pack, bringing a solid selection of comic-inspired outfits including The Batman Who Laughs, Robin King, and several Jokerized character skins.

You’ll also get the Jokermobile from the Arkham Trilogy alongside new Batcave decorations such as the Joker Fish Aquarium and Barbatos Statue.

A new Absolute difficulty is coming for free

Even if you don’t pick up the DLC, there’s something new arriving on September 18.

An “Absolute” difficulty option will be released as a free update for all LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight owners, which will be an even tougher challenge than the existing Caped Crusader and Dark Knight settings.

More Joker and Harley outfits inspired by Batman: The Animated Series, The Dark Knight Returns, and other classic Batman media will be available to unlock too.
