Since most games this day in age are digital products, especially those that release solely on PC, there comes a time when some are completely retired from stores

This is a little less common on consoles since there are many more physical releases on offer, but when licensing issues come into play, it’s something that can’t be avoided.

Sadly, this has happened to Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova, a somewhat recently released title that has fallen foul of a licensing agreement that expires at the end of September. What this means is that it is being removed from the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch stores as soon as October comes around, making it your last chance to secure your copy.

A light in the darkness from this situation is that you can, in fact, play this action-adventure title completely offline once purchased, thus meaning even if it is being taken down, you’re able to get a playthrough going with no problems.

It’s on a massive sale, too!

A compounding win is that you’re also able to pick it up for a lower price than your daily coffee to go at $2.49. This includes the upgraded resolution version on PS5, for example, too, turning the 2022 title into an even crisper overall experience at 4K 60 FPS to play around in.

You’ll be able to fly around the galaxy, save friends, and discover new alien species, all before an entire planetary system supernova attempts to destroy it all. Who doesn’t want to change the entire course of history by getting in the middle of it!

As we’ve previously stated, you’ll have until the end of September to secure your copy of Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova, but if you’re a fan of the franchise, you might as well pick it up right now just in case that low cost offer sneakily disappears.
