Indiana Jones preview

GamesDomain has put up a preview of the upcoming action/adventure from LucasArts, Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb. Here’s a clip:

Sadly, the peak of the graphic adventure genre really only exists in the memories of old and jaded gamers, even though a good one trickles out periodically. And LucasArts, no doubt with half an eye on the success of a certain tomb-raiding heroine, released Infernal Machine in 2000, a third-person action-adventure which was moderately well received. Emperor’s Tomb, due for release this winter, looks to be in the mould of the more recent games, rather than the old-school adventures of yesteryear. Such is the way of things.
