With a worldwide publishing deal anticipated soon (though not yet officially secured), German developer House of Tales plans to disclose the first details of its next adventure game at the upcoming Games Convention in Leipzig.

Known for its previous PC adventures Mystery of the Druids and The Moment of Silence, along with its mobile adventure game series, House of Tales looks to continue its tradition of making games with controversial topics and a strong narrative focus. This time around, the developer intends to be even more progressive, incorporating features like real-time physics and light/shade projections in an offering that promises “a storytelling method which has never been used in computer games until now.”

Although specific information about the game (including the title) is still being kept secret, Creative Director Martin Ganteföhr enthusiastically describes the new project by saying, “There is still plenty of room for intelligent entertainment between Maniac Mansion and Memento.”

Stay tuned to Adventure Gamers between August 18-21, when details of the new game become public.
