A trio of mind-bending games is being added to Game Pass from January 27
A new week is upon us, which means there are even more titles joining Game Pass’ ever-growing catalogue.
This week, The Talos Principle, Anno Mutationem, and Drop Duchy are all being added onto the subscription service.
The Talos Principle
You play as a robot who awakens in a strange, contradictory world of ancient ruins and advanced technology. Tasked by your creator, Elohim, of solving more than 120 increasingly complex puzzles, you must decide whether to have faith in Elohim or to ask yourself the difficult questions: Who are you? What is your purpose? And what are you going to do about it?
The adventure puzzler is available from January 27. If you need convincing to install it that little bit more, read our review of it here.
Anno Mutationem
You play as Ann Flores, a combat trained protagonist who is searching for her missing brother Ryan. As it turns out, Ryan has gone missing in the search for a cure for a condition that his sister has called Entanglelitis, which causes Ann to suddenly black out.
In this cyberpunk world that meshes together 2D and 3D graphics, Ann teams up with a hacker named Ayane as they try to find Ryan before it is too late.
You’ll be able to enjoy it as a Game Pass subscriber from January 28.
Drop Duchy
Drop Duchy gives us the tried and tested geometric puzzle gameplay with a fresh perspective. Instead of simply clearing lines, you’ll be thoughtfully building a realm using pieces of various shapes and types to overcome enemy challenges.
Each round offers you a fresh and unique landscape to work with. Place tile pieces as you would in a typical block-dropping game, but with a strategic twist: you need to align them to maximize their activation rules, producing maximum resources and units.
Select your path, gather your troops to outnumber your enemies, and reclaim the regions under their control in other 100 fun levels.
You can grab it from the Game Pass catalog from January 28.
