Dispatch’s price and release date for Switch Consoles has been revealed
In what has been a brilliant year for action-adventure games, Dispatch has managed to establish itself as one of the most thrilling titles from the genre this year and Switch players don’t have to wait long to get their hands on it.
Developer AdHoc Studio has confirmed that Dispatch will be released on both Switch consoles on January 28, 2026 and it will be $29.99. However, if you pre-order the game, you can get it at a 10% discount for $26.99.
For UK players, it will be £24.99, but it is just £22.49 if you pre-order.
Should you want to pre-order the game, you can do so here.
What is Dispatch’s plot?
Set in alternate Los Angeles, where superheroes have celebrity status, the game follows Robert Robertson, a superhero who after having his suit heavily damaged in battle. Due to his loss of suit, he is forced to be a dispatcher for the Superhero Dispatch Network’s Z-Team, a group made up of former villains the SDN is hoping to reform.
Featuring an all-star cast such as Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul, you help the Z-Team reform itself while waiting for your suit to be repaired so you can return to action.
The game’s episodic and multi-choice storyline continues to receive critical acclaim even two months after its release. It was nominated for Best Indie Game and Players’ Choice at The Game Awards 2025, and we ranked it as one of the best games of 2025.
If being nominated for the Players’ Choice award for the ‘Oscars for video games’ didn’t prove that gamers loved it, the fact that it is projected to surpass AdHoc’s three-year projection in sales within three months certainly shows it’s well on its way to becoming a cult-classic.
Where else can I play Dispatch?
If you want to play the game, it is already available on PlayStation 5 and Steam.
