Blueprint Gaming brings King Kong back with a fishing theme and dual bonus modes in King Kong Splash
Blueprint Gaming has released King Kong Splash, the latest instalment in its popular Kong series, and this time the iconic ape has traded the jungle for a waterside fishing adventure.
The game plays out on a six-reel layout and keeps the laid-back, cartoon charm that has made Kong one of the studio’s most recognisable characters. The visuals lean into the fishing theme with splashing water, tackle, and aquatic imagery while keeping Kong front and centre as the main attraction.
The main part of the game is Kong Collects, which can land on reels one and six. When a Collect symbol lands at the same time as cash symbols during a spin, the cash values are given right away. Every Collect that appears also nudges players forward along a progressive trail, which has been updated with new modifiers, including a Reel Collect mechanic and the introduction of a Super Shark symbol for bigger win potential.

Two bonus modes and multiple ways to trigger them
King Kong Splash is different because it has two separate bonus rounds. If you land three or more scatter symbols, you get the Kong Bonus Spins, which give you 10 free spins with all unlocked trail features still active. Instead, players who finish the progressive trail can also choose to play a new mode called Fishin’ Mayhem.
In Fishin’ Mayhem, players get five free spins on a special collect grid, and any cash symbols that land are picked up right away. You can get multipliers of up to 5x, and dynamite symbols can make the bonus grid bigger so you can win more. Every fourth collect raises the minimum cash value on the grid, and more spins are given out to keep the game going.
There is also a third trigger pathway through coloured scatter symbols in red, blue, and green. These are collected by matching chests sitting above the reels and can randomly activate either bonus mode with varied feature upgrades applied. King Kong Splash will be distributed across the studio’s existing operator network.
