The elusive Arc Raiders Aphelion Blueprint has been located and here’s how to get it

Alongside the new Stella Montis map brought about additional map conditions, as well as the new Matriarch enemy that dwarfs the Queen in both size and firepower.

Additional gear has also been added to the pool including the Aphelion — an Epic rarity battle rifle that fires off a two-round burst.

If you’re looking to get your hands on one, you’ll need the Blueprint, and we know it can be secured.

How to get the Arc Raiders Aphelion Blueprint

If you want to get the extremely powerful Aphelion in Arc Raiders, the only way to do so at the time of writing is to craft one. Well, if you don’t kill another raider and steal it off their body, that is.

But to get the actual Blueprint to do so is a pretty mighty task.

This is because you’ll have to take down the aforementioned Matriarch which, if you haven’t encountered already, is an absolute behemoth that will require you to team up with other raiders in order to be successful. Even then you might not have enough firepower.

If you do manage to down the Matriarch, there is a chance that the Aphelion Blueprint will be ripe for the picking on its body. We don’t believe that it is a guaranteed drop every kill but since this is the only way of acquiring it, we expect that luck will hopefully be on your side.

There have been some reports from players that they’ve been killing the Matriarch on multiple runs, and the Aphelion Blueprint hasn’t dropped, but it has been ‘confirmed’ by the devs that this is where it spawns.

Once you extract with the precious goods, you’ll then need to have your Gunsmith leveled to 3, as well as having 3 Magnetic Accelerators, 3 Complex Gun Parts , and 1 Matriarch Reactor, in order to craft.

You’ll likely have all of these items, especially if you’ve wrapped up the Expedition Project, ready for the December wipe.
