Here are the 007 First Light voice actors who bring the Bond game to life
While all the talk about Bond casting in recent times has focused on who will play him in the next movie, knowing who is taking up the mantle in video game form is just as important.
Not to mention the extended cast, either. You’ve got the classic MI6 characters, along with whatever villains will be popping up, all coming together to bring 007 First Light to life.
Thankfully, we have all the info on the main voice talent, so you can unlock the memories of where you know them from as you progress through the chapters.
007 First Light main voice actors
Here is the list of the main 007 First Light voice actors:
- James Bond (007) – Patrick Gibson
- M – Priyanga Burford
- John Greenway – Lennie James
- Miss Moneypenny – Kiera Lester
- Q – Alastair Mackenzie
- Miss Roth – Noémie Nakai
- Dr. Selina Tan – Gemma Chan
- Bawma – Lenny Kravitz
Leading the line as James Bond himself is Patrick Gibson. You’ll probably know Gibson best from Dexter: Original Sin, where he played a young Dexter Morgan, but he’s also appeared in The OA, Shadow and Bone, Tolkien, and Before We Die.
Priyanga Burford plays M, and this isn’t her first brush with Bond, as she appeared in No Time to Die. Outside of 007, Burford has credits in Industry, Avenue 5, Press, W1A, and The Thick of It.
Bond’s mentor, John Greenway, is played by Lennie James, who is a very big pull for the game. James is hugely recognizable as Morgan Jones from The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead, but you UK folk may also know him from Line of Duty, Save Me, and films like Snatch.
Taking on Miss Moneypenny is Kiera Lester, who has appeared in Death in Paradise, Wreck, Grace, Chloe, and Ruby Speaking. This version of Moneypenny is naturally a younger take on the character, fitting with First Light’s story.
For gadget lovers, Alastair Mackenzie plays Q. Mackenzie will be familiar to many as Archie MacDonald from Monarch of the Glen, while more recent viewers might recognize him from Andor, The Crown, Unforgotten, Wolf Hall, and Deep Water.
Noémie Nakai plays Miss Roth, one of the original characters created for 007 First Light. Nakai has previously appeared in Tokyo Vice as Luna, as well as Army of Thieves, and has also worked behind the camera as a director and filmmaker.
Then there’s Gemma Chan as Dr. Selina Tan, another excellent get for IO Interactive. Chan is best known for Humans, Crazy Rich Asians, Captain Marvel, and Eternals, and she also has previous video game voice work, thanks to Diablo IV.
Finally, Lenny Kravitz plays Bawma, bringing some serious rockstar energy to the villainous side of the cast. While Kravitz is obviously best known for his music, he’s also appeared in The Hunger Games films as Cinna, along with Precious, The Butler, and Shotgun Wedding.
There are also some additional voice actors in the game, including cameos from content creators Michael Grzesiek (Shroud) and Seán McLoughlin (Jacksepticeye).
Shroud appears as a Mauritania Fight Club fan, while Jacksepticeye can be spotted as a nightclub worker. Khaby Lame also appears in a brief cameo, albeit with no voice lines, as expected. These are obviously extremely minor roles, but are fun little additions without detracting from the overall experience.
