Techno Banter: Rave and Roasts PAX West 2024

Techno Banter, a techno-infused bouncer simulator, made quite the splash at PAX West 2024 with its playable demo, which offered attendees a first-hand look at its unique blend of humor, weirdness, and pulsating music. Developed by Dexai Arts, this game plunges players into the neon-soaked underground rave culture of a dystopian city, where they will navigate the nightlife as bouncers at the infamous Green Door club.

In Techno Banter, players will need to use their wits to manage a colorful array of clubgoers, ensuring the club's vibe stays intact with clever comebacks and quick decisions. The game's setting is deeply inspired by Berlin's vibrant and eccentric techno scene, with local DJs contributing to the in-game soundtrack, adding authenticity and a real sense of place to the experience.

The game has already garnered significant attention, winning several indie awards, including the GameStar.de “Find Your Next Game” Indie award and the Reboot Develop Blue Special Selection award. For those unable to attend PAX West, a demo is available on Steam. The game will be released later this year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
