Raining City Millions Recollections – a new visual novel where wealth management determines the ending

The creators of The Chrono Jotter are back with a new visual novel adventure that will release on Steam on August 26th. As you might expect, the premise here is weird. You wake up with a hole in your palm from which falls a continuous stream of coins. How you use these coins affects the direction of the story and ultimately, its ending.

Players will enjoy a dark mystery narration and investigation mechanics through exploring the city and tracking clues on their smartphones, as well as navigating relationships with otherworldly creatures and humans alike. They may seem friendly, but not everyone approaches you with good intentions, especially not when there’s so much wealth just emerging from your hand.

The coins attract both humans and the supernatural to interact with, and forging the correct kind of relationship with those you encounter forms the basis of the story. Yep, it sounds super weird, doesn’t it? There’s a trailer below that doesn’t really help to clear things up much at this stage. We are looking forward to playing with this one in a month’s time when it finally arrives.
