Kamitsubaki Studio and Kazuhide Oka are bringing a new sci-fi adventure to PC, and it looks pretty interesting, even at this early stage. Platonica Space is a psychological adventure in which the main character wakes up in a strange world that seems to be constructed of memories. Along the way, you will meet other girls who seem to be in the same position as you – no clue why they are there and with no obvious way to escape the interconnected rooms.

As you move around between locations, you can collect objects and items that will gradually reveal more about what exactly is going on here. The twist? Not all of these items are yours. Some belong to others there, which can lead to some confusion. And if you needed things to get more complex still, your character needs to sleep and the more you search for answers, the more tired they get. After a nap, every time they wake up, the room layouts and items change. Oh, come on. Sounds cool though right?

You can get a bit more of a feel for things by watching the announcement trailer above, but the mix of lo-fi beats and pastel anime has definitely got us wanting more information on this one. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no indication whatsoever of Platonica Space’s release date, although it has now got a Steam page at least where you can wishlist the game to be kept up to date on its progress.
