Black Smoke Studios has just announced that the public demo for the strategic rally adventure game, Desert Race Adventures, is out now and you can take it for a test drive on Steam or Itch.io

Developed by a Portuguese indie team, Firedrake Games, and published by a Finnish studio and publisher, Black Smoke Studios, Desert Race Adventures is a retro-inspired strategic adventure game with a roguelike twist.

Described as Oregon Trail meets the Dakar Rally this one is certainly on the more unusual edge of adventure games, but sometimes that just works.
