Now established as a genuine, if fascist, superhero, The Purple Patriot must take on a gang of terrorists who have taken control of a Manhattan bank. If the Purple Patriot is to prevent millions of deaths, he will have to overcome his own prejudice and seek the assistance of one of his most hated rivals.

Now suffering from a dangerous mental disorder, Kyle believes he is a superhero, The Purple Patriot, who wages war against immigrants and alternative lifestyles instead of supervillains. Before he can begin establishing himself as a superhero, he must first escape the clutches of the saturnine Nurse Julie who seems intent on euthanizing him.
