Avolteha is an extraordinary planet covered by landscapes full of sand, rocks and volcanoes but lacking in water – the source of all life. The only water is found in the clouds that pass over Avolteha. The only way to get it is through a type of mushroom that can extract the water, so many years ago the inhabitants grew their settlement around these mushrooms. Over time, the mushrooms began to sprout their roots higher and higher, and to restore the water supply, Paul and his friends built a connection from the new cloud city downwards. Recently, however, the water source has gone out once again, and Paul receives a letter from his friends asking for his help.
